Each JV is a little different, depending on demographics and land availability in the area, so good local knowledge is a definite advantage. Our partners to date range between 24 and 69 years old, and are all either innovative entrepreneurs or come from a building background and know a good opportunity when they see it. New joint venture partners pay an affordable license fee, along with the first year of working capital – this gives you 50 per cent ownership of the joint venture and a 50 per cent share in its profits.
