The team at Coastguard Hibiscus (pictured) are one of the local charities benefiting from the Generation Homes Rotary Swimarathon fundraiser held on 30th June.
The Swimarathon is a Hibiscus Coast fundraising event that supports local charities. This year they raised over $22,000 and all of this money will go back into the community.
Coastguard Hibiscus is a voluntary rescue unit that fit under the umbrella of the New Zealand Coastguard Northern Region and they received $4,500 to support the amazing work they do looking after their community at sea. Well deserved!
