Most of our parents in the previous generation never got the opportunity to own their own home or if they did it was very late in life which almost gave the rest of us a stereotype of being too young to buy.
For a few years my partner and I kept our dream of owning our own home despite walking into banks or speaking to people that just never really seemed to take us seriously.
I remember the day I walked into Generation’s show home in Papamoa. I was greeted at the door by this enthusiastic bubbly man that finally looked at me as an equal. There was no judgement no stare down and certainly no attitude like we would only waste his time.
Brendyn Gray is the reason we are in our own home today. He went the extra mile for our family, he answered our phone calls at any time of the day, stayed in contact with us throughout the full process of the build and made sure we had the best group of people keeping our best interests at heart. Brendyn not only made our dreams come true but he also became a familiar face and friend to our family.
During the build we had an unforeseen worldwide pandemic, with things changing to foreign territory for the entire country Generation Homes ensured us of everything and kept us updated. Generation Homes did an amazing job getting us into our beautiful, warm home as soon as they could. There is absolutely nothing we would change about this experience other than wishing we had done it sooner.
