Our journey with Generation
Just over a year ago my husband and I started to consider moving from our family home of 20 years. After visiting several developments we came out to Riverhead and visited all the show homes there. Generation Homes had one big advantage at that point. Her name is Suanne, our first point of contact. Suanne was welcoming and instantly made us feel at ease, there was no hard sell, no pressure, just a genuine person who could relate to people and had a passion and belief in Generation Homes.
After a few weeks of backwards and forwards, looking at several different sections we put a deposit down to secure our little patch of Riverhead! And our journey began.
Once the legalities were in place which took a couple of months the build began. We were given a schedule of the build which was adhered to with the utmost precision! Every week we would see the house progress and our excitement would increase as it developed from a concrete floor plan to a basic construction right through the finished product with everything fitted as we had specified at each stage of the planning. Even during construction when we asked for a couple of changes there was no issue. Peter (The company director) was often on site when we visited and would take time to talk us through the build at that stage, a very approachable and hands on man and I suspect a good boss too!
We have now been in our house for 2 months and love it! We are still unpacking and finding our feet but the house is everything and more. Thank you Generation Homes for delivering all your promises. Every staff member we have had contact with throughout the build have been excellent giving a first class service, communication has been foremost keeping us posted on progress and the end result is the product of a highly skilled and committed team.
If we were to build again (not in the near future – we want to enjoy this beautiful home) we would without a doubt do it all again with Generation Homes.
