Design & Build

HOW OUR PROCESS WORKS:

Step 1

The first step is to contact your local Generation Homes team. Bring your ideas and what you would like to see in your new home. We will show you examples of the work we have completed for other Design and Build customers. A visit to our Show Home will also help you start to visualise what is possible and the exceptional quality of our work.

Step 2

From the initial consultation, we will then work through the homes floor plan with our team and our architects – how many bedrooms; one story or two; do you need a three car garage; would you like a separate visitor's wing; and so on. Once this is decided we then move to the look and feel. We will work alongside you to make sure your home reflects your style on the inside and out.

Step 3

Once everything is signed off and agreed, we move to a build contract and apply for building consent. From there you will be given a timeframe for the build. Generation Homes fixed price guarantee ensures that you know upfront what you are paying for, and our set timeframe means that you know when you will be unlocking the front door and welcoming your first guests.
