The Aramex Kiwi Walk Run Series is back for another season in 2024 and we are delighted to be returning sponsors of the Generation Homes Trek The Forest event. Located on the beautiful Lake Tikitapu (Blue Lake,) this course weaves around Lake Tikitapu for the short course, whilst the mid and long delves deeper into the stunning Whakarewarewa forest, with glimpses of Green Lake and beautiful old growth forest, this course will leave you speechless at the beauty of our backyard.
We have a beautiful backyard, and we can’t wait to explore it with you. There’s a full Kiwiana theme, complete with your favourite iconic kiwi tastes and flavours from the music and on course pitstops to the sausage sizzle and wooden medal as you cross the finish line. Great for a weekend adventure away in Rotorua!
The long course is a good distance for the trail runner looking for a challenge in the build-up for something epic! The mid-course is a good distance day out of keen walkers and runners whilst the short course is an easy loop great for first timers and all fitness levels. Run the courses or take in all the scenery and walk with friends. There’s an option for everyone!
